The Obama/Biden campaign promises this sunny, utterly carefree and totally Sovietized Life of Julia whose every NEED is met while living entirely off the ABILITY of those who work for themselves and among others who do the same. I got a weird phone call this afternoon. It was from Zach NoPunim, he claimed to be the son of Julia, the woman whose life was described today on Barack Obama's campaign web-site. Zach was very angry he claimed the President got his mother's story all wrong. Zach says Barack Obama ruined his mother life. Below is the story he told me.

In a speech hailed by Obama’s most outspoken sycophant and pimp, Chris Mathews, as being reminiscent of Henry V’s address to his troops on the eve of a critical battle, in which they faced almost certain annihilation at Agincourt, France.

I'm not sure that you can call this slogan an oxymoron but perhaps you can say that it was thought up by a moron who didn't think to understand how much ridicule this slogan would rain down on the President.

Obama must not have been paying too much attention to what his folks at NATO have been doing as they prepare for the summit coming up on May 20, 21 in Chicago because the new video touting the gathering has a few whoppers included. Namely that Chicago is the capitol of Illinois (it isn’t) and is “the city he grew up in” (he didn’t).

Back in August of 2011 I finally made it downtown to take a gander at the tacky Marilyn Monroe statue that was placed at Pioneer Court near the Tribune building on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. It was a horrible. But finally, we are told that the statue is going to be removed from its current perch. Now I call THAT a beautification project!
