We Better Stop Using "Illegal Alien" Because Geraldo Rivera Says So

Ladies and Gentleman Gerald Riviera is angry. In an op ed written for Fox News, he demands that his fellow news figures stop using the term "illegal aliens" to describe people who broke the law by sneaking into this country. The story is therefore easy and cheap to illustrate. The fact that it is a lazy stereotype of undocumented immigrants, which ignores the hefty percentage of European, Asian, Australian and African visitors who overstay their visa is irrelevant, too complicated and lacking emotional punch.

Is there a little something to this “theory”? Well, a little, as methane is certainly a much more potent greenhouse gas than CO2. And the notion that the dinosaurs were killed off by an asteroid has come under some question, some wacky, some legitimate. Most tend to focus on the asteroid as the leading cause. But, leave it up to the insane Warmists to trot this out

Gee wiz, if only the Obama administration had simply accepted that KSM and the other defendants wanted to plead guilty, instead of playing games, like withdrawing all charges “without prejudice” in order to attempt to prosecute them in civilian court. Furthermore, can you imagine how much of a circus it would be if the trial was a civilian one, rather than a military tribunal?

Predicting whom a particular candidate will take as Vice-President is always difficult because so many factors play into it. Do both candidates get along? Is the presidential nominee looking to carry a particular state, region, or demographic group? Does he want a rock star or is he looking for a candidate who won’t overshadow him? Is he looking to solidify his base or is he just trying to add strength across the board in a general election? Here are the running mates that Mitt Romney is most likely to choose (We’ll start with the top 10 most likely candidates and

Aborting Born Babies: Are
Only Liberals Truly 'Human'?

In February of 2012, a pair of left-wing “philosophers” wrote a paper that claimed that babies aren’t human until they can become cognizant of themselves, aware that if they were to be “aborted” or killed they’d be losing something valuable, their lives. This, they claimed, justified abortion as well as post birth infanticide. Naturally they had elaborate justifications for their stance and what they wrote is chilling indeed, for it essentially states that only people that think like them are really worth the status of “human,” worth having their lives considered sacrosanct.

I am not sure whether its good news or bad. Seventy-year-old Warren Weinstein one of the people most responsible for tuning me into a political geek has been held by the al-Qaeda terrorists since mid-August. Today they released a video, where he asks President Obama to give in to the terrorist demands otherwise he will be killed. We know that he was still alive when the video was made, but we don't know when it was made and whether or not he is still alive.

With the arrival of Jodi Rudoren as correspondent, New York Times coverage of Israel and related issues has now gone to a new level of ridiculous bias, especially after a predecessor who really did try to be fair. What is most impressive about Rudoren’s record so far is that there is no attempt to give the faintest appearance of balance. She probably doesn’t understand what that concept means. And she certainly knows that the editors and ombudsman won’t hold her accountable. We in Israel have grown used to media prejudice and, given our low expectations, probably accept more of it without complaint

WANTED: A new presidential campaign advance team that can count. Contact Obama for America headquarters in Chicago. Of all the times to blow the political optics, it was to be the first "official" campaign event on Barack Obama's billion-dollar reelection campaign. Saturday's kickoff was to begin in Ohio, then Virginia. But all of the excitement was over-shadowed by 4,000 empty seats in Columbus. The obvious lesson in Political Advance 101 is: Always pick a setting that's too small for the crowd you expect.

Now that Mitt Romney has secured the GOP nomination political speculation has turned to whom he will pick as his running mate. In the overall scheme of things the selection of a running mate only really matters if the choice is a disaster--remember what Senator Eagleton did to McGovern’s candidacy? More recently the selection of the gaffe prone Joe Biden didn’t hurt Barack Obama and Sarah Palin helped McCain. Palin energized the base. Once her selection was announced McCain surged ahead in the polls and he stayed there until his awful response to the financial crisis proving that in the end, its

That didn't take long. Minutes after the election upset of French President Nicolas Sarkozy Sunday, President Obama faites un appel telephonique pour le nouveau president de la France, Francois Hollande. The 57-year-old politician is the leader of the Socialist Party for the past 11 years. But Hollande's election could augur many changes from the pro-American stance of Sarkozy. And Obama is clearly eager to start off on the left foot.

Quite the busy Sunday as the election results in France and Greece throws doubt and uncertainty on the viability of austerity and bailouts! The Greece election results, besides throwing the financial bailout of the country into doubt, included an alarmingly strong performance by a party that goes by the name Golden Dawn. This anti-immigration and anti-austerity political movement was projected to have taken 7% of the vote. This compares to .29% of the vote this radical party won in 2009...

Well, Obama’s mask is finally beginning to slip off his face. A few days ago the 2012 Obama campaign released its offical slogan, FORWARD, and immediately the origins of this favorite action word became known thanks to Obama’s greatest adversary, the conservative bloggers. From now until November the Democrats will be marching FORWARD to victory. Just as their fellow communists have done in the past. Most of those communist posters from past history were not written in English so they’re not as obvious, see the blog written by Hack Wilson, http://www.hackwilson.blogspot.com/ But, even though Obama’s Democrats left out the revolutionary
