It has been noted that Salon.com has been treading an increasingly anti-Israeli path and its recent announcement of a partnership with the anti-Semitic news site Mondoweiss.net seems another step down that road.

All day Wednesday the Old Media establishment was going gaga over the "gaffes" that presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney supposedly committed on his overseas tour. But all the many gaffes Obama committed with our allies -- especially the Brits -- were conveniently absent from any of the coverage.

Mitt Romney tries to steer around Olympics controversy in London meetings
Now where would Romney come up with these notions?

And just because Lady M’s in London for a long weekend doesn’t mean she isn’t getting some decent face time back in the USA just in time for re-election 2012. (snip)

How are the people in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District doing while Congressman Keith Ellison spends his time and energy protecting the interests of known terrorist front groups? What about America’s interests? Where does he stand on issues that are important to us? And what solutions does he offer for the economic challenges we face?
Chris Fields will be the clear choice in November if voters have an opportunity to learn the truth about Mr. Ellison. Not what Mr. Ellison says on the campaign trail, but what he’s actually done and what he wants to keep doing as a U.S. Congressman if

In listening to the testimony of these border patrol officials, one understands just how dangerous to national security and the rule of law is the Obama administration's policy protecting illegal immigration. Guys, this isn't mere incompetence. That would be bad enough. This reeks of a carefully calculated strategy to create more disorder, more economic distress, and more illegal voters to help the Democrat ticket.

So much political shouting is flying around in the multi-million dollar ad wars from both sides these days it's easy to miss an occasional whisper that could prove very effective in what most now agree is likely to be a close presidential election on Nov. 6. The country appears divided into two roughly equal, hardened camps. There are the Mitt Romney backers. Many could perhaps more accurately be described as anti-Obama who support an imperfect but acceptable Romney as the most viable vehicle to oust the duplicitous Real Good Talker luring people down a dangerous foreign path that they didn't

This Saturday evening begins Tisha B' Av (the 9th of the Jewish month of Av). Since the time of Moses and the exodus-through modern times, horrible things have happened to the Jewish people on or around the 9th day of Av. Generally not recognized is the fact that the President of the United States, Barack Obama has a eerie connection to this sad day.

Great video that shows the President trying to walk back his "Didn't build that" statement when in reality he should embrace the fact that for the first time he had uttered rhetoric that the American people could believe came from his heart and from his socialism-based core beliefs!

Bad Catholic is writing about things:
An ever-evolving religion, taken at its word, is a series of beliefs forever changing into other beliefs. Now I may be wrong here, but I’ll nevertheless stake my claim: A belief forever changing negates itself. One cannot hold an ever-changing conviction that something is true, or else it is by definition not conviction. It is a non-Thing...

This guy is starting to make me nervous. If he thinks his policies have worked, on the economy, health reform or anything else, he is not in touch with reality. And I think he DOES believe it. Do we want someone that delusional to have the power to launch a nuclear attack, the power to order someone’s assassination? If that question doesn’t make you a little uneasy, you’re not paying attention.

Boy Oh Boy, can Jay Carney dance. At today's press briefing twice the White House Press Secretary couldn’t explain conflicting answers – twice – between Obama’s campaign and the White House. Twice he was specifically asked did anyone at the White House leak national security information.
Oh he said Obama hates leaks, that he didn't authorize leak, he said the administration thinks national security information is important, heck he even said it was absurd to think that anyone in the White House would leak security information for political gain. But Jay Carney practically tripped over his undershorts trying to avoid a

Only a few lonely media outlets responded to the Aurora Mall murders by calling for stricter gun control measures. President Barack Obama and Colorado Gov. Today the media is yet again attacking billionaire Sheldon Adelson on its front pages; now it is about his effort to target Jewish voters in swing states including Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Such a media infatuation with an established successful, self made man who is doing what any active political advocate does, educates voters to see his point of view. In today’s world, money affects politics on both the left and the right. It happens all over the world, not just in the United States and maybe, just maybe liberals are nervous because finally there’s someone on the right standing

I am beginning to feel that there is no hope for many of our school teachers. They've become so infused with leftism that any semblance of Americanism is beyond their grasp. Even history is viewed from within a socialist prism as a recent editorial from a teacher from Pennsylvania proves. In his editorial, teacher Robert J. Fisher of Upper Saucon Township sought to debunk what he called the "extreme right-wing elements" of today's America. He did this by claiming that nearly every conflict in our history is some sort of example of Marxist class warfare.

The Chicago School system is rapidly collapsing. Its graduation rate is a horrid 56 percent, its finances are in tatters, and even though the Chicago Teachers Union was offered a 10 to 15 percent raise, CTU officials still want to strike claiming it isn't enough. So, what went wrong? CTU President says it's all because of Chicago's "lower class students" and "students of color."
