Lifetime's Army Wives has often walked up close to anti-American plot lines without stepping too far over the line, but this weekend's episode crossed right over into the left's famous -- and famously bogus -- favorite storyline: turning patriotic Americans into villains.

The headline of the Internet version of a Washington Post story about the shooting sports at the Olympics asserts that "even at the Olympics" the Olympians face questions about gun violence. Yet, upon reading the article, it is clear that the author of the piece is saying that none of the Olympic contestants have been confronted with such questions at all, at least not from anyone in the Olympics.

Sandy Adams, who has been endorsed by Allen West and Sarah Palin, is going up against John Mica. Both Adams and Mica are already in Congress, but because of redistricting, they’re being forced to go toe-to-toe in the 7th congressional district of Florida. The interview was done on Chick-fil-A appreciation day last week. I had just gotten back from Chick-fil-A and Sandy told me she ate there, too.

Pat Archbold is taking on the redefinition of the word tolerant being pushed on us by cultural elites: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means" -- Inigo Montoya Among all the words in a language already so battered and bruised as to almost become unrecognizable, one word stands out for having taken the brunt of the beating. Solyndra should be a giant red flag for all voters in the upcoming presidential election. If you truly believe that President Obama had no idea that the half a billion dollar loans were a waste of taxpayer dollars, then you must believe he is a lousy manager with no line of communication to his staff, because It seems as if every top adviser, every senior White House staffer knew it was a horrible use of tax payer dollars. Just look at the list of people who knew all about Solyndra:

Political junkies may remember the name of David Plouffe, Obama's 2008 campaign manager, one of the architects of the successful presidential campaign, Plouffe and Senior Adviser in the Obama White House since early 2001 According to the Washington Post, a subsidiary of MTN Group, a South Africa-based telecommunications company, paid Plouffe for two speeches he made in Nigeria in December 2010, about a month before he joined the White House staff. MTN not only operates in Iran, but helped the Iranian government put down the rebellion in 2009.

A great graphic that highlights the business successes of Mitt Romney who had skin in the game were they to fail. On the other side are the business failures of Barack Obama and his administration investing the taxpayers money. As a politician the President faces no blowback or ramifications when these investments fail! And therein lies the difference between the public sector and the private sector!

It was white knuckle time in the Control Room at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena California and so the jubilation seen once landed, though seemingly out of place, was understandable. A tip of the hat to all involved, it makes one proud to play a small and indirect role in the achievement...

This video of a talking horse supposedly belonging to Mitt Romney represents more of the attempt from the left and the MSM to deflect this campaign from the real issue which is the failure of Barack Obama. And while Mitt Romney earned his money the old fashioned way plenty of the loudest politicians including Harry Reid made their money in more unclear ways. Politicians in glass houses should not be throwing stones!

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness… Treasured guarantees from the Declaration of Independence. Except that life depends on water and in a stealth power grab of staggering scope, governments and agencies have laid claim to the very rain itself. This ties into the socialist precept that the government shall own the means of production, including the means of food production. If you are looking for the logical implication of Obama’s recent rant that “You didn’t build that!,” that the necessary components of anything you build or grow come from government, this is where you arrive. It has always been the American

On the surface it is laughable, but beneath the robe, Ginsberg gives us another glimpse of her statist underwear.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the cerebrally inept U.S. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli, who needed to be coached by Liberal judges in front of the bench on how to plead for the Obama’s Affordable Care Act, took part in an examination of arias for legal precedent at the American Bar Association’s annual meeting in Chicago.

Posted by guest blogger Locutisprime I can't say that I am either surprised or disappointed in the chicken lips fizzle. On Wednesday when literally millions of family values oriented Americans turned out to support Dan Cathy and Chik-fil-A, aside from flippant reporting, there were very few if any earnest attempts to report on the backlash that had occurred as a result of the homosexual movement in America attacking Cathy and the Chik-fil-A corporation.

It would appear that I, and other conservatives who think it would be a major blunder for the states to set up ObamaCare’s insurance exchanges (which states aren’t required by the law to create), constitute a pernicious influence on Republican governors. That is, at least, how it appears to the rocket scientists over at Media Matters for America.
