As he battled Hillary Clinton for the nomination four years back he argued that she was an insider and no insider can change Washington from the inside. They’ve all been corrupted from the inside you see so ch-ch-change! was needed.
Bring an outsider, like himself, into Washington and he would ch-ch-change Washington.
Four years later and he admits that his line was bullcrap.

It’s not just her husband. She is simply and completely dishonest. They’re quite a matched pair.
Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been hearing her tell us how her husband “struggled” as a youth.
The problem is that the Lincolnesque portrait painted by Michelle is phony. Barack Obama did not “struggle.” For most of his early life he lived a life of privilege.
And the bullcrap stories continued yesterday.

Only our totally unbiased watchdog media could turn the burning of U.S. embassies in countries where Barack Obama had recently supported mob revolts into Mitt Romney’s blunder. Journalists couldn’t risk having Obama’s campaign slogan “Osama is dead” being amended with “and so is our ambassador.”After our ambassador to Libya was murdered in a preplanned, coordinated attack on our embassy last week, preceded by an attack on our embassy in Egypt (and followed by attacks on our embassies in Yemen, Indonesia, Tunisia and Lebanon), Romney criticized the Obama administration for “sympathizing with those who had breached our embassy in Egypt.”

John Podhoretz takes a clear-eyed view of recent polls, all of which show an Obama surge. It’s a long post, and can be summed up simply: the polls probably oversample Democrats, but the fact is that Obama is doing extremely well and may even have a small lead. Mitt Romney’s campaign should shake off its apparent malaise and work really, really hard in the coming weeks.

We know less about who’s winning many of the key states right now than you might think. There are very few polls that have been done since Obama’s convention bounce has dissipated and most of them are from agencies that are dramatically oversampling Democrats. Still, even if it’s a little hard to say where both candidates stand, we can pick out the key states to watch.

The shocking Romney “gaffe?” A perfectly decent recital of reality: a chilling near-majority (47%) of Americans have become dependent upon government handouts as a basic entitlement. Why would they and their prosperous, guilty Liberal apologists/enablers vote for someone who doesn’t promise more of the same? Romney is addressing the essential corruption of the American character from decades of Liberal/Socialist Democratic policy.

Depicting Muhammad in art, even if rarely done, still has a long history in Islam. The belief that you can’t draw or depict Muhammad’s likeness because if you do, you are insulting Islam and the Prophet Muhammad is somewhat of a recent, modern convention than a traditional one.

Instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars during this campaign between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, why not settle things the American way in a good old-fashioned capitalist-style sell-off? As a Mom I feel I have more skin in the game than ever this election cycle. I’ve been paying close attention to the Presidential race to figure out what’s best for my family. Polls released last week by CBS News and NYT showed Obama with a 53-41 percent advantage among women. This week Obama and Romney campaigns went into high gear releasing ads targeted at women.
