Many TV critics and commentators like to say that you can judge the way this nation is feeling about itself and its times by looking at the sort of shows that are playing on television. They say that our mood and our outlook about our present and our future can be understood through the collective programming on the TV.

Barack Obama, the Obama administration and the POTUS campaign staff will put the presidential election above all, even national security!
Somebody needs to remind President Obama of the old adage from World War II, "Loose lips sink ships."
This phrase needed to be created because "The majority of these citizen-soldiers had no idea how to conduct themselves to prevent inadvertent disclosure of important information to the enemy. To remedy this, the government established rules of conduct....

I'm thinking so:
The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 - 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 - 45 lead. That's a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them...

Romney's Foreign Policy Speech: A Return To Peace Through Strength

Mitt Romney today delivered an address on foreign policy, titled “The Mantle of Leadership” to the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. The liberals will probably push a false meme that this speech was all about "endless war," in fact Romney alludes to it in the text. But this speech was about endless peace, or maintaining peace through strength.
If anyone tries to argue that peace through strength does not work, tell them to look at the Berlin Wall (or where it used to be).

Last week 60 Minutes Correspondent Lara Logan delivered a keynote address at the Better Government Association annual luncheon, which the Chicago Sun Times called “a provocative speech” to some 1,100 movers in government, politics, media, and the legal and corporate arenas.
The speech was more than provocative it was a warning to anyone who wishes to hear. She explained that the Taliban, al Qaeda and its proxies haven’t gone away and are in fact re-energized and coming back in force. Logan also informed the crowd that a “lie” is being propagated by the American government.

As the historian William J. Connell argues, Columbus may not have been the first of the voyagers to discover America, but he was undoubtedly the most important. “His arrival,” Connell argues, “marks where we as a country and a hemisphere began our identity.” Unlike previous landings, Columbus’s mattered. It was the first to lead to a permanent settlement and the first enduring landing from a civilization that boasted modern ideas such as a belief in science, reason, individual achievement, and Christianity. Ultimately, Columbus’s story serves as the introduction to a story of immeasurable historical importance. To dismiss celebration of the

President Obama’s faithful want him to take the mittens off in his next debate and trounce his Republican opponent by bringing out his secret weapon: The Teleprompter!
Apparently some Obama supporters felt the president was at a disadvantage without usage of his teleprompter in last week’s debate. (Well…truth be told, they’re probably right). They think it was unfair in the last debate that the president debated at a handicap:

As political pundits delve into Obama's very poor debate performance, not as much attention is being bestowed upon what he actually said on Wednesday evening. In the case of his claims about his budget, few are noticing that the President repeated his thoroughly debunked deficit reduction claims, claims even his own budget plan proves to be false.
