President Obama promises to move the country forward with his recycled pledge of five million green jobs. But in the real world, small businesses are struggling to stay afloat as they deal with the fiscal wreckage of this administration’s disastrous venture socialism. Here’s the tale of just one Colorado company victimized by the Obama Department of Energy (DOE).

It’s understandable that conservatives are frustrated by losing this election because Barack Obama is an awful human being, who has performed awfully and run an awful campaign in the midst of an awful economy and he still won.

The election is over folks and we lost...big time. Not only is there four more years of Barack Obama but some of our future stars, people like Allen West who I will always call Congressman Mensch (because he is), and Mia Love who impressed me at CPAC and the entire country during the GOP convention lost by the tiniest of margins. Rather than wallow in our grief for the next decade, after a day or two the Grand ol´ Party has to regroup and move ahead, if we take too long of a break we risk losing our base to

I will be the first to admit it-when Ohio went to Obama on Tuesday night depression set in-worry grew for the future of my family and for this country which welcomed my ancestors and protected my family.
There is still a great fear running through my consciousness for our future because Obama has won a second term. And like many of my fellow conservatives I spent much of yesterday "out on the ledge getting ready to jump." That was until I realized that while the progressives will try their best to change this great nation into a European socialist republic nothing

My forte is spotting problems, not finding solutions. Thankfully, when I put out a call for suggestions, many of you responded. This post sets out practical list ways to get conservative messaging past the media gatekeepers that so effectively insulted Romney, praised Obama, and squelched or promoted news stories depending upon whether they help or hurt Obama. The media is a giant roadblock that we have to (a) plow through; (b) climb over; and (c) go around. I’ll begin with multiple suggestions from my good friend Lulu, who is both fired-up and creative. Then I’ll move on to all of

TV´s The Good Wife, an episodic drama on CBS, wears its left-wing politics on its sleeve and this week´s episode was no exception as a TV courtroom judge was depicted pushing global warming from the bench. This isn’t the first time as the same character has in the past pushed anti-conservative themes.

The Old Media spent several days last week attacking Mitt Romney for his October 30 event in Ohio where he presided over supporters coming together to donate money, clothing, and food for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Then the food donations were ridiculed. Yet, now ABC News is reporting that victims of the storm are now calling for food donations from the public.

Today, we face a similar potential crisis. Americans are growingly pessimistic. Patriots are angered and confused over last night’s presidential election results. There is a feeling of impending doom as we face a looming “fiscal cliff,” hollowed out military, and overly intrusive federal government. We have an executive branch that succeeded in polarizing the nation to such degrees that there was talk of violence over the election results.
So, for my benefit and the benefit of other patriots out there, I want to repeat Washington’s motivational strategy to rally the troops and bolster our spirits. The future is certain to be

My sister, who is only vaguely interested in politics, told me the other day that the Dems are lucky, because they’ve got such a deep pool of candidates for 2016 — and then proceeded to name Hillary and Cuomo. She had no idea who Rubio, Jindal, West, Love, etc., were, and she knows who Ryan is only because he was on the Romney ticket. The reason for my sister’s ignorance is simple: On the rare occasions when she tunes into the news — meaning the MSM, not alternative media — these stations make no mention whatsoever of rising conservative stars.

Have been too busy to really put down my thoughts about yesterday’s election, but I can tell you that I am not at all despairing — in fact I’ve been doing Cher-smacks and telling people to “snap out of it” all day — nor do I feel doomsdayish; rather I feel very grateful to have things clarified for us in such a way.
I will write more — perhaps this evening — to explain what I mean (so check back) but this morning I participated (humbly, along with Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Sean Cardinal O’Malley, Michael Sean Winters and other heavy-hitters) in

First off, congratulations to Mr. Obama for winning a second term.
However, if we look at the popular vote, this does not present a mandate. All together, we are looking a split of about 59 million for Barack to 57 million for Mitt. Doesn’t matter, because I truly expect Obama to mostly move even further to the left. My predictions

As long as our ideas live on, in some way so do we. Here’s is one of John F. Kennedy’s most famous statements: “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Obama won the 2012 election by turning that idea upside down.

The Warmists are already agitating for climate change (hoax) legislation
(SF Chronicle) as soon as the major news networks called the race tonight, environmentalists started firing off e-mails urging Pres. Obama to turn his attention back to our warming world. They’re hoping that Obama’s re-election and Sandy’s devastation will reset the national conversation on climate change, after several years in which many politicians refused to utter those two words in public.

Maybe I’m in denial, but I’m feeling less depressed than I felt last night and this morning. Part of my more sanguine attitude is based upon a Taranto principle, which is that Obama now owns the events of the next four years: "Obama has spent the past four years explaining away his failings by essentially arguing he is the best of all possible presidents–that he has done as well as any man could given the “mess” he “inherited” from his predecessor. It is certainly true that he took office under adverse circumstances. But so will whoever takes office Jan. 20.

Fiscal cliff:
"“Fiscal cliff” is the popular shorthand term used to describe the conundrum that the U.S. government will face at the end of 2012, when the terms of the Budget Control Act of 2011 are scheduled to go into effect"
Republicans should allow this to take effect. All of it.

Whenever a candidate loses an election, the very first thing people typically do is to begin to search for a scapegoat and it’s amazing how that particular goat of scape turns out to be whatever bugaboo that the Republican Establishment has already decided is bad for the Party.
