Obama and company are all over the airwaves calling for tax hikes on the rich because a few billion will fix everything, which is complete baloney:

Unions played an important role in American history. At the turn of the last century, a lot of workers encountered awful and dangerous conditions on the job. The workers banded together, demanded changes and got them. After that, Americans joined unions and the dues began to roll in. Riding that wave of compulsory money, union bosses rose. With that much money flowing, corruption wasn’t far behind.

This morning´s NY Daily News has a column by progressive bigot Stanly Crouch. In 605 words he manages to bash every conservative as some sort of liar and or nut job.
He begins by calling Rep. Allen West, an imposing and muscular Tea Party hawk (a phrase which if a conservative used he would be screaming racism)then goes on to call West a shrill descendant of Joe McCarthy who is falsely claiming voter irregularities in his reelection defeat. I don´t remember the Crouch column throwing names at his fellow progressives who still claim the 2000 presidential election was stolen.

The lapdog press sees Barack Obama not as a President, but as a national treasure- the first black President- and in need of protection and nurture free of the entanglement of scrutiny.
