Barack Obama wants taxes increased on the “rich” but not for the purpose of revenue. As previously noted, those taxes will net only $80 billion per year thrown at a $1250 billion deficit. Obama wants to be seen as “punishing” the well off in the guise of “fairness.” “Fairness” appeals greatly to those who lack the ambition gene.

A couple of weeks ago, I said to my sister, “Kate’s pregnant,” referring to the Duchess of Cambridge.
“How do you know?” she asked.
“Because,” I told her, “the British press was filled with daily stories about her, showing her going her and there, and always talking about her perfect style. Suddenly, though, she’s vanished. She’s not showing up anywhere. so I’m betting that she’s pregnant and suffering from morning sickness.”

– The economy is in bad shape and it’s conceivable that going over the fiscal cliff could push it into recession, although nobody really knows one way or the other.

Obama owns the fiscal cliff. These are HIS laws. He signed them. The GOP needs to scream that loudly every single day.
Barack Obama is cynical, but could he really be so cynical as to sign into law something he knew would have to be reversed while blaming the GOP?
I am also cynical and I believe that that scenario is very possible. Now Obama is demanding that the GOP save America from Obama.

On June 25 we will be celebrating the 136th anniversary of George Armstrong Custer’s philosophic victory at Little Big Horn. It’s true that George suffered a severe hair cut along with the 265 men under his command, but he certainly showed chiefs Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse that he wasn’t about to be intimidated by 10,000 Sioux.
We can’t know how many people will celebrate the 136th anniversary the philosophic victory by the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union in 2148, none of us will be among the living by then. But I’d sure like to know.
