Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, and the Muslim Brotherhood are holding, on December 15, 2012, a referendum on a new constitution.

You know, the constitution that President Barack Hussein “vote buyer” Obama refuses to criticize.

You know, the constitution written by a committee of 100 selected by the now disbanded Egyptian parliament that, at the time of the creation of the Constituent Assembly, was dominated by Islamists. Fifteen committee members quit the Assembly in protest. Of the 85 members remaining, none were Christians, and only four were women. So much for “diversity,” one of the Democrats/liberals/progressives’ (DLPs) most precious ideals.

Not so many moons ago, President Obama urged us all to “make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.” He Who Heals advocated “a more civil and honest public discourse” in the wake of the January 2011 Tucson massacre. As usual, though, the White House has granted Big Labor bullies a permanent waiver from the lofty edicts it issues to everyone else.

There was a time when Warmists said “weather is not climate! Yeaaaarrrrrrg!” Now, because fewer and fewer are buying into what they push (which they themselves refuse to act on, as witnessed by the yearly working vacations in exotic locations which produced tens of millions of tons of CO2), they have now moved on to “extreme weather” (some, like Al Gore, have even moved on to “dirty weather”) in order to blame every weather event, including snow and cold, on someone else living a modern life

Put simply, the fiscal cliff debate is an illustration of staggering political cowardice. Politicians of both parties are unwilling to ask voters to pay for all of the big government promises that they made on the campaign trail. They would rather risk the country’s long term future than risk losing the next election. As a former elected legislator, I can assure them that their offices are not worth the price they are asking us, the voters, to pay.

Where was the first Republican National Convention held? Well, it was held in 1856 in a place called the Musical Fund Hall. The party nominated James C. He is the only president from Pennsylvania, the only president who remained a lifelong bachelor, and the last president born in the 18th century. Of course, the Republican Party was

Michigan´s Gretchen Whitmer, the State´s Senate Democratic Leader, is now pleading for President Obama to trample on Michigan´s state sovereignty and control the state from Washington DC. This is an odd request for someone that thinks she should be Michigan´s next Governor. During most of American history, state politicians have been keen to safeguard their own power in their state. We even fought a whole civil war in part over the idea of states´ rights, after all. Oh, but not Michigan´s Gretchen Whitmer. No, for Whitmer, allowing unions and President Obama to control Michigan is far more important than allowing

...our impending economic disaster, euphemistically termed the Fiscal Cliff, seems to be proceeding without anything being done to effectively slow its progress. In other words, our politicians seem to be in rout step like a legion of zombies as they stagger ever closer to our collective fiscal doom. Our president has his scope zeroed in on the rich or as the French and Russians called them the bourgeoisie, for they alone are responsible for our fiscal irresponsibility and therefore deserve his wrath. Strangely, many of us are asking just who those people were who could afford those $40,000 a plate
