Now that the election is over Barack Obama no longer has to appeal to supporters of Israel or haters of terrorismso he is about to appoint former Senator Chuck Hagel to replace Leon Panetta as Secretary of Defense. Former Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel is likely to be President Barack Obama´s next pick for Secretary of Defense, although the White House has yet to finalize its decision for the cabinet appointment. A former Pentagon official tells NBC News that Hagel is the likely pick for the post, while another White House insider says that, while Hagel is a top candidate, it´s unclear if

Which candidate was the darling of the Media?

Romney spent more on TV ads but got much less

What better way for the Left-aligned Media to influence the election outcome than to be sure their candidate was able to air so much more than Romney.

The last time I checked, awarding the Medal of Honor was not hinged upon some courtroom standard of reasonable doubt. Witnesses testify to the acts of the individual cited and the medal is awarded for cause based upon eye witness testimony. In this case a young Marine died saving his comrades from a grenade attack in Iraq eight years ago, yet the secretary of defense and his predecessor don´t believe that what he did that day is good enough to receive the nation´s highest honor...

Mitch McConnell is up for reelection in 2014 and although he should be a high priority conservative target for a primary challenge, he has a huge war chest and he’s hired Ron and Rand Paul’s campaign chairman extraordinaire, Jesse Benton, to try to discourage any Republicans from running against him.

The violence that unions perpetrated in Michigan as the state legislature passed its new right-to-work legislation was hailed by lawless Democrats and union supporters alike showing that neither unions nor Democrats are much interested in morality of legality, but the incident also revealed yet another perfect example of how illegitimate MSNBC is as a source for reliable news.

Well, this is an interesting development. Remembering that Illinois is the only state that has a concealed carry ban still on the books, a federal judge ruled the ban unconstitutional and told the state legislature it has180 days to dump the ban and write legislation allowing for concealed carry.

I´ve been a Redskins fan since I was 12 years old. For those counting, that´s 40 years of Redskins fanhood. And as a fan, it´s been a long time since I´ve been as excited about football as I´ve been this year. That excitement is the direct result of the impact that last year´s Heisman Trophy winner and this year´s starting QB, has had in DC. But apparently, not everyone is enthused about RGIII...

The federal government will be requiring high school English teachers to drop Charles Dickens, Jane Austen and…who knows…maybe Stephen King to make room for reading “Executive Order 13423: Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management.” You think this is a joke? Or maybe a synopsis of a George Orwell story? No. It´s an example of how the Common Core State Standards in English, a new government requirement for the "public schools" will work.

As you know the UN General Assembly recently gave the Palestinians "Observer State" status for its corrupt institution. It doesn´t matter to them that the government they now call a state and its controlling party (Fatah) is still calling for violence and/or the destruction of Israel. Palestinian Authority (PA) and Fatah leaders “bless Hamas,” “praise and salute” the launching of rockets against Israel, and even advocate “armed struggle.” Fatah Central Committee members have recently lauded Hamas and Islamic Jihad for their rocket attacks against Israel and/or promoted the use of armed struggle.

Under Obamacare, seniors pay higher taxes for the honor of being rejected for necessary treatments. Higher taxes on drugs took effect last year and beginning on January first unless some Democratic Party senators have their way, there will be a tax on medical devices. Each of these taxes will hurt seniors the most as they are more heavily dependent on these products. The medical device provision of Obamacare imposes a excise tax on medical device manufacturers equal to 2.3percent of the wholesale price. The items taxed include devices crucial for our older citizens, such as pacemakers, hip joint replacements, powered wheelchairs,
