Was chatting with a guy at work, a guy known for his moves on the dance floor in and out of the office. I call him Gene, Gene the Dancing Machine. He and fellow team-mates had gone Gangnam Style at the office Christmas party and were a huge hit. So I relayed, in front of my boss, that I wanted to learn those moves and show them a thing or two.

In a year-end review of the US economy this article contains 75 economic statistics that point to the fact that conditions in the US are deteriorating rather than improving. To add insult to injury, the country faces four more years of the same leadership that helped to put us in the financial hole that we find ourselves in! And the final absurdity is that facing an economic crisis the POTUS and members of Congress left town for vacation!

Hollywood has contributed mightily to the decay of American culture. We used to have White Christmas, now we have Reservoir Dogs. We used to have Mary Poppins. Now we have Kill Bill. Hollywood has coarsened our culture. It has desensitized kids to senseless murder and senseless violence.

If you are like me you woke up one day and the "holiday season" Christmas and New Year´s became a trio, with the addition of something called Kwanzaa. Oh sure there were rumblings of a new holiday, but who would have thought that something invented by a Black separatist group in 1966 will now be considered by some in this overly politically correct world as a holiday on par with something like Christmas or New Years.

National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre spoke to reporters today about the horror of Sandy Hook, and the hypocrisy of the media and politicians, an indictment of Hollywood and the video game industry and offered the NRA´s suggestion for ending school violence-properly trained armed good guys at each school across America.
Disappointingly even Fox News didn´t cover his entire speech, perhaps because they have been accused of not covering the heightened gun control debate (according to the leftist pundits), or perhaps their ownership of 20th Century Fox.

As we near the so-called “Fiscal Cliff”, I feel it necessary to point out, again, that higher tax rates will lead to lower revenue for the federal government. Previously, I only had the words of various economists on my side, and re-iterated those words in defense of keeping the tax rates low. However, recently I worked to come up with a comparison showing how higher tax rates lead to lower revenues, and vice versa.

Trying to figure out how to deal with the massacre of children at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newton, Connecticut is no easy task. For reporters, "dealing" isn´t supposed to be the goal, reporting is. But for CNN´s Ashleigh Banfield, reporting is of less interest than placing blame even to the point of blaming God for the crime.

ABC News political correspondent Sam Donaldson was recently arrested by police in Lewes, Delaware for driving under the influence. Lewes Police Chief Jeff Horvath reports that Donaldson, 77, was pulled over on the evening of December 1 and failed a field sobriety test. He was charged then released.

A combination of people thinking the world will end, the last day before Christmas vacation, and the one-week anniversary of the tragic shooting at Newtown, CT has resulted in a tremendous amount of shooting threats at schools across the United States.
