It was a mixed message from the Old Media establishment at the President´s December 19 news conference about the newest "crisis" he is pushing. As Obama appeared before America to talk about the gun "crisis" and his decision to hand it off to Joe Biden, instead of asking about Obama´s gun agenda, the media deluged him with questions about the fiscal cliff.

Recently on CBS, Bob Schieffer generously bestowed a Harvard degree on actor Ben Afflack a degree in Middle Eastern Studies, no less. This would be a surprise to Mr. Affleck because the actor only attend a little college, never got a degree, and certainly never attended Harvard.

This is truly my favorite Christmas song because it ain´t about Santa or toys or fighting Druids or Gaia worship or sparklies.
At its core, Christmas is a religious holy day celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ upon this earth. I´m puzzled as to why pagans, secularists, and anti-theists wish to indulge their hypocrisy by participating, however superficial or profane, in a Christian holy day - then denigrate and marginalize the very essence of the reason for the season, Jesus Christ.
Yet they´ll gladly pocket the holiday pay.
Oh, well. I´m tolerant.

Gun free zones mean gun free for those who would abide by the law only and map out a killing zone safe for those who would illegally conceal a weapon and commit murder.

In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, the Associated Press is again fearmongering over the idea of a "printable" gun. That would be a gun manufactured using a 3-D printer that prints in plastics instead of ink. Of course, this story is consistently misreported as no gun can be made in such a fashion, but the Old Media keeps regurgitating this claim anyway in order to push an anti-gun agenda.

It´s been a great week for yours truly.
Friday morning I heard that word (Dismissed!) in traffic court, a word coming from the lips of the judge presiding over whether or not I had failed to yield the right of way back in mid-November to an oncoming vehicle as I made a left turn in front of it.
I won´t bore you with the details or how I felt sorry for the cop who was having a seriously bad day in court. All I know is I walked out of that courtroom feeling much lighter than I did when walking in.
