All of us know single mothers and in fact, some of the best moms I personally know are, in my humble opinion, single moms. There’s not enough good things to say about some of the women I know who work extra hours, take extra time, go above to beyond, work, fret, and sweat to make sure their child has every advantage. Additionally, the kids of most single moms turn out all right. They’re not criminals, thugs, delinquents, kooks and failures.

Rob Parker is at it again:
Sunday morning, hours before the Redskins playoff game, the suspended ESPN host talked exclusively with WDIV-TV’s Devin Scillian on the station’s weekly community affairs program ‘Flashpoint.’
Parker said his ‘cornball brother’ comments were taken out of context and admits he was “shocked” it received national attention:
“It was never to condemn the young man,” Parker told Scillian. “RGIII is a great young man with a bright future. It was more about concerns not condemning.”

The Journal News, decided to post to its website the names and addresses of all of the legal gun owners in Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties.
...This is a blatant misuse of government data and the government is complicit in that misuse.
...So now that the government of New York has forced its citizens to beg for permission in order to exercise their Constitutional right to bear arms, it then keeps all their names and addresses in a database that it then shares with just about anyone who asks.

Earlier we reported that the Los Angeles Police Department made a big show of having found "rocket launchers" during it most recent gun buyback program. We pointed out that the so-called launchers were being misreported and the police were illicitly using them as a scare tactic. But now we find that this same Police Chief has done this before.

The L.A. Police Department had big news on December 27. They had seized a pair of rocket launchers! This, of course, would have been shocking news if only they really had found "rocket launchers" in the City of Angels.

To effect Liberal panic, all one has to do is publicly breathe one calm sentence of common sense that, by definition, flies in the face of the Grand Obama Plan. Speak a whole paragraph, taking a rational argument for good policy to its conclusion in 3-4 sentences, and you have meltdown. Try it. It’ll be like a nice fresh bucket of water on the Wicked Witch. During the Bush era, a lot of Progressives engaged in faux civil disobedience. They marched and screamed, periodically hanged or burned Bush effigies, and even allowed gay marriage, secure in the knowledge that they’d suffer virtually no consequences. Actual vandalism might get imprisonment or a fine, but everything else allowed them to sleep in the beds at night, secure in the knowledge that tomorrow’s papers and news magazines would applaud their “heroic” histrionics. Real civil disobedience is a little different, because it contemplates willingly accepting the real consequences meted about by a manifestly unjust government.
