Neal Boortz will be calling it quits this week after 42 years in the radio business. He timed his exit to ensure that if Barack Obama was reelected he (Obama) would not have another dollar of his (Boortz’s) income tax dollars to spend.

There’s still time to make a stand by signing the White House petition urging that we establish “gun free zones” around the President, VP, and their families. The thinking is that what’s sauce for the goose (we, the People) should definitely be sauce for the gander (our employees in Washington, D.C.). As of now, the Petition needs only 4,511 more signatures. I would love to see the White House explain why the Progressive privileged few are more important than you and your children.

I found this to be more than a little surprising:
Several hundred thousand people massed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Sunday to protest a plan by President François Hollande to legalize gay marriage and adoption.
Three columns of protesters, waving pink and blue flags showing a father, mother and two children, converged from different meeting points in Paris. Many came after long train and bus rides from the provinces...

This is so effective on a number of different levels:
President Obama delivered an emotional speech about protecting America’s children in December in response to the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
But the producers at Blackstone Films have turned that speech into a remarkable video to reflect on the duty of Americans to protect our nation’s unborn children. It’s a very powerful video that is sure to spark some controversy...

It looks to me (and to a lot of other people) as if there is an overwhelming desire to correlate and transpose the images of Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln. Not just in some idealized romanticized physical fashion, but rather in the truest sense of comparison of ideologies and philosophies. It also looks to me as if there is a desired intent to draw parallels and similarities between the two men, as if by some cosmic design, Barack Obama has in fact become the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln.
None of these comparisons are by chance...
