It’s difficult to not look at world events these days and feel as though we are sitting on a ticking time bomb. Things are heating up even more and the clock is now at about 30 seconds to midnight.
One wonders where all this will lead… Well, if the current course is kept, straight into hell, probably. That is by design and has been planned on for a very long time.

Well,we officially wrapped up the 2013 Sundance Festival last night with the Awards Ceremony. As in previous years,there were precious few films deserving of rewards,butt that’s never stopped the Awards Committee before and it didn’t this year either.(snip)Joseph Gordon(snip)opened the awards ceremony stating: "This isn´t basketball. This is the movies. There are no winners and losers. This is art."(snip)I would like to recommend a movie that won an award this year that may actually be worth watching(snip)The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear-A movie that may just make your every wish come true...

Lights were all but off as Father Chateau finished the Rosary. Bill the lector brought the lectionary out to the ambo wearing a fur hood like the lady in the picture. Bill did not look as happy as the lady in the picture...

Hell of a title for a post isn´t it?
Of course, those aren´t my words. My words are usually rather inadequate, inarticulate, ineffective I think in getting across the point and so more often than not, I turn to others who I think make the point I´d like to make better than I can make it.
A few days ago, I expressed my frustration with folks who seem complacent about pursuing and exercising their faith.
Today, I find Fr. Longenecker dealing directly with that complacency in what I consider to be an excellent piece...
