Trump hatred does turn formerly sane people insane; instead, Trump hatred is the catalyst that reveals that people we once thought sane never were.

“There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don´t know we don´t know.” - Donald Rumsfeld Trenton McKinley of Mobile, Alabama, suffered severe brain trauma from a freak dune buggy accident in March. Doctors told his parents he was braindead. They said that if he survived he’d be in a vegetative state. So they signed the organ donation papers...

I’ve got to cut and run, as the road is calling. But in case you missed it I’d highly recommend Clarice’s Pieces from yesterday: Judge Ellis Wants to See Mueller´s Hunting License. For some reason it reminded me of John “Can I get me a hunting license here?” Kerry. (SNIP) John Kerry’s hunting license has long since been revoked but that doesn’t seem to stop him from roaming the fields, looking to bag himself another medal of valor for consorting with the enemy. As Fox News reported, Kerry is actively engaged in “shadow diplomacy” in an attempt to preserve...

Let me begin by saying I pray that John McCain has a miraculous recovery and returns to full health.  But seems as if the eighty-one-year-old senator is nearing the end. Last weekend he asked his son-in-law Ben Domenech to take care of his daughter Meghan and there has been a string of people such as Joe Biden and Joe Lieberman to say goodbye.  While most people near death tend to make their apologies, or a the very least become "nice," still the curmudgeon as he nears the end John McCain is exhibiting the same nastiness toward fellow Republicans that made him so unpopular with the

Typically, when one asks a Democrat about Franklin Delano Roosevelt,  they immediately develop a sense of awe and genuflect as if he came down from heaven to lead the United States. It´s hard to understand the reverence for FDR, he never helped the economy, was a bigot who put Americans of Japanese descent into camps and was an anti-Semite who doomed at least 200,000 Jews to die at the hands of Hitler´s "Final Solution." While other modern presidents may have been bigoted, none acted on their bigotry as much as FDR (Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama fight for #2). Liberals will claim that

Along with everyone else I was betting on Justify to win the run for the roses. And win he did, by an impressive two and a half lengths – in the mud no less! This was only his 4th race and he’s won all of them. (SNIP) Although the truth is whether you win by a length or by a nose, it’s still a win. Just ask Donald Trump. The real reason I was hoping this Kentucky bred beauty would win is so I could speculate if he was named after the Justified TV series also set in Kentucky. It

Sex and money; love and work; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The imperfect human keeps trying to Have It All, but our innate, immutable flaws keep getting in the way. One of those flaws is the persistent belief that there’s an easy, quick route to any of it. And that persistent foolishness keeps cursing us with the latest Marxian Master Planners forever promising instant delivery of the goodies that, in the real world, only time and individual effort can provide. And people still go for it and repeatedly come out stupid, confused and angry, not least of all,

UPDATE 5/1/18: Even insufferable members of the MSM are guilty of the sins and crimes they love to attribute mostly to Conservatives. Or perhaps it’s almost entirely the province of supposedly revered, preening “gentlemen” like Brokaw who are most often the worst culprits. Apparently, Tom is just one more tiresome, “wholesome” tv boy like Matt and Charlie caught with his fingers where Momma says “No!”

I have been unable to get this report out of my mind: in 2017 65% of American Public School 8th Graders Not Proficient in Reading; 67% Not Proficient in Math. And that’s burying the bad news: in many urban areas proficiency levels are much worse. Detroit came in dead last with 8th grade reading proficiency at 7%, and math just 5%. (SNIP) But the schools are more concerned about social justice than basics. It’s enough to make you weep...

A key Native American doesn’t believe that President Donald Trump’s labeling of Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas’ is offensive, her name is Debbie “White Dove” Porreco and she is a direct descendant of Pocahontas. Not only does Ms. Porreco approve of the President’s nickname for Warren, but she gave the POTUS approval for him to use it. The Pocahontas descendant does believe that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to take a DNA test to verify her claims of Native American ancestry.
